Snow Make Up Day Field Trip - February 16

Grades K-2: Participate in the Imagine Monet Immersive Experience + Educational Workshops at the Tacoma Armory and then engage in an afternoon of fun at the STAR Center!

Grades 3-5: Learn how glass is used to create beautiful works of art and how cars are designed with safety in mind on an all-day field trip to the Museum of Glass and LeMay- America’s Car Museum!

  • All students will be dropped off/picked up at a designated community center. Please check confirmation email for location and time.

Clubs, Activities, Sports, and Field Trips at Your School

Tacoma Public Schools and community partners have come together to offer Beyond the Bell activities for students in grades K-5 and Club B activities for students in grades 6-8. Login to your Compass: TPS Family App account and visit the activities page to see what options are available at your student's school.

When you register, you will see three payment options per session. Please select the best option based on your family’s current need.

Beyond the Bell activities take place at all of Tacoma’s elementary schools from 3:30-6 p.m., Monday-Friday.

2023-2024 School Year Important Dates

Session 1: September 25 - November 17

  • Register August 28 - September 16
  • No programs on Oct. 17, 19-20

Session 2: December 4 - February 9

  • Register October 30 - November 21
  • No programs on Dec. 8

Session 3: February 21 - April 12

  • Register January 22 - February 10
  • No programs on Mar. 21-22 and April 1-5

Session 4: April 22 - June 14

  • Register March 25 - April 13
  • No programs on May 24 and 27
